Public Order Offences
Have you had a PCSO or a local authority issue a Fixed Penalty Notice against you for throwing a cigarette butt on the floor / spitting on the floor / your dog barking too loudly / your baby crying too loudly etc., or for any similar alleged offences? Whilst some of you may feel aggrieved at this imposition, I’m sure there are many of you who feel “that’s only right”. The lawful fact is, many of these ‘quality of life’ laws are only enforceable with your consent and compliance! (See About Us page). Worse, they are often enforced with a contradictory abuse of law; for example these FPNs often state you must give the enforcing agent your name and address under S1 of the Road Traffic Offenders Act 1988 or you will be arrested (regardless of whether the person or entity is a policeman or not), yet how is it the enforcing agent and/or local authority are allowed to cite ‘criminal’ enforcement for a ‘civil’ penalty?! The above is just one of the issues Consumerletters.co.uk raise in our appeals against these FPNs to successfully negate the enforcement of them. We have no problem with the ‘lawful’ enforcement of FPNs – the problem is, they rarely ever are and it’s only your ignorance of law (in conjunction with aggressive enforcement language and tactics) and then your subsequent compliance that enables enforcement of these FPNs. (See About Us page).
What do I need to do? Complete our Application/Consent Form, attach the FPN & press SEND. Consumerletters.co.uk will then determine the validity of your case and if we can help, we will then contact you to make a payment via our online Payment Form. If you need to post documents to us, then please post them to the address on our Contact Us page. Any documents received by post will be returned upon completion of your case via either 1st or 2nd class post or recorded delivery when necessary. If you do not want your documents returned, they will be disposed of via an accredited shredding company.
Witness Statements
(Relating to PCN / Parking Fines) (£25 min or 10% fee plus relevant admin fee) You received a parking fine, forgot to appeal and have a good reason for not doing so but the local authority is telling you it’s too late to appeal? Then this service is for you. Consumerletters.co.uk will file a Witness Statement with Northampton County Court on your behalf and when successful, this will allow you the right of appeal or, if a debt collection agency is involved, remove the powers of their Bailiff/Enforcement Agent. You can file a Witness Statement yourself at no cost. However, YOU ONLY GET ONE CHANCE TO FILE A SUCCESSFUL WITNESS STATEMENT! If it fails, then you’ve lost the right of appeal and will have to either pay the full cost of a parking fine and/or any DCA/Bailiff/Enforcement Agent fees. Consumerletters.co.uk have nearly 10yrs experience & over a 95% success rate in filing successful Witness Statements.
What do I need to do? Complete our Application/Consent Form, attach the PCN and any other relevant documents & press SEND. Consumerletters.co.uk will then determine the validity of your case and if we can help, we will then contact you to make a payment via our online Payment Form. This will be dependent upon and individual to each case and in many cases is incorporated as part of the 10% fee. Being chased for £450? Then the 10% fee you pay for our service is £45.
